DAY AT THE ZOO...

Though we saw some many beautiful animals over the day, Leiths favorite by far were the seagulls!!! At the end of the day, though very tired, we couldn't resist letting him run wild and wreak a little havoc!! He had a ball trying to catch them and we were happy that on the way home, both him and Jai crashed big time and slept all the way home!

Bryce And Jai are at the elephant exhibit in this photo. They couldn't resist a ride on these beautifully carved elephant figures!

Leith spent most of the day observing the animals perched on Stuarts back in his carrier. Here, they are watching the seals from below the pool and Leith was leaning right in, trying to get a good view of them swimming up against the glass. I wasn't sure if the picture would turn out as it was quite dark but I think it turned out brilliantly!

Jai's favorite animals are still the lions! There were 4 great big ones, lounging around in the sun and both Leith a Jai got very excited! Even more so when one of them started roaring! It was amazing and at first we didnt think it was real! Bryce and I looked at eachother like "Nah, thats not real.." then we saw its huge mouth open each time! Lately, we ask Leith what does a lion say, and he replies "raaahh", then we ask him what a dinosaur says, and he replies "raaahh", then we ask him what daddy says, and he replies "raaahh"!!!! Im not game to aks him what mummy says.....!
