We celebrated Easter with the family on Good Friday this year! It was the only time we could get everyone together in the same place at the same time!! We did a lazy mans lunch of fish'n'chips ("say it again??? We musn't get that here, I'll just put curry!"-For all you Little Britain fans!!) washed down with heaps of easter eggs and jelly slice! We had an egg hunt for the kids in the front yard and there were so many eggs, we divided them up and put all of Bryce, Jai's and Leith's eggs into one BIG basket so that they could be shared! Anybody visiting has been forced to help empty the basket!!! It might have something to do with all the kids (& Stu and myself!) being incredibly hyperactive also!!! I dont really care for "saving" them, I encourage the kids to eat them whenever they like-just to get rid of them-quickly!!! So if you would like to indulge in loads of chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner, please, come to our house-you will be warmly greeted and stuffed stupid!!! I have officially turned into a massive, acne scarred cow! Have you seen the size of some of those eggs???! So much for a glass-and-a-half.......We nearly needed a trailer to transport the damn things!!
We hope you all had a lovely Easter and holiday period-NOW GET XMAS SHOPPING...!!!

Walkies...!

My little Angel has started walking!!! Exactly the same age/time as Jai too! They not only got their first tooth on exactly the same date BUT... got their 2nd tooth on the same weekend at the same place (Cup w/end at Phillip Island), crawled on exactly the same date and pulled themselves up onto furniture on the same date!!! FREAKY LITTLE FELLAS!!!! Well, they were born 2 days apart!!
Anyway, its just amazing to think that time has gone so quickly! For all the other mums out there, I know you know what I mean! It seems one day you're recovering from childbirth and the next they are yelling back at you and cracking the s*#t's becasue you keep telling them not to touch something or put everything in their mouths!!! Yes, Leithy bear is a feisty little munchkin. Full of personality, like all little tikes, and quite capable of holding his own! It is survival of the fittest you know when you are the youngest! Yes, he takes every opportunity to remind his brothers (and parents sometimes!) that he is the boss! There will be no lying on the floor for a relax, as within half a second the little pocket rocket has launched himself at you and too bad if you dont have your nether regions covered....poor Stuie!! Yes, its Kiddie Wrestlemania at its best and he's not scared of the big boys....Thats my boy!!! So I guess next blog I post will be to let you know he has just written a thesis or something like that....time is flying.....

The Latest News...

Jai turned 4 and Leith turned 1!!! How fast does time go?!?! On Sunday 19th March we had a birthday party for the boys. Jai picked the theme which was "Superheros"! It was a beautiful 24deg day and we hired a jumping castle for the midgets to go bonkers on and expel all their energy (a method used by a lot of parents for a peaceful right-through-the-night sleep!). We also had a Batman pinyada which, surprisingly (or not?!?) the midgets belted the absolute be-Jesus out of-obviously knowing the contents which would freely spill out once they had 'cracked' it! The midgets all dressed in their finest Superhero garb-girls included (many Superprincesses graced us with their presence!). Jai opted for Spiderman, as did every other boy! In fine girly spirit, he changed into his "Minja" turtle costume, then Bob the Builder-very Superhero indeed! Little Leith didnt have a costume small enough, so we improvised! He was CM-otherwise known as Chick Magnet! He got a cute pair of bathers with Chick Magnet painted all over them from his Nanna Wendy (Stu's mum), so to make the outfit complete I made a CM cape-outfit complete!! The midgets had a great day! The adults enjoyed sitting back with a BBQ lunch and watching from the deck, their precious bundles create havoc!! They both got brilliant gifts-Jai got a massive Alex the lion, Leith got Elmo, Jai got heaps of dinosuar and Thomas stuff, Leith got balls (dont even go there!) and they both got plenty of gorgeous new clothes for the winter season! Very lucky little men! It was a fantastic day, one that Jai will remember! Enjoy the photos!!

The Wham Clan!!!

Hi there! The Wham Clan, or Addison Family as we are more commonly known, have decided to jump on the Blog Wagon! With so many great blogs coming our way (Wayne & Kim, you have a lot to answer for!!) we thought it would be a great way for all our family and friends to keep up to date with us-seeing as though it is nearly impossible to catch up with EVERYONE all of the time! We hope you enjoy our blog journey and feel free to drop us a line via the comments section whenever you can-another great way to stay in touch!! You will see fairly normal events and day to day living experiences of the Addison Family, but hey, we're always up for a bit of fun so we may just throw you a curve ball every so often!!!
For those of you not familiar with Wham or Whammy-it's been Stuarts nick name since high school (any memories of that silly game show with Ian Turpie and those furry little whammies!). I think it had something to do with Stu having one fairly furry eyebrow-he'll probably give you another reason!! Anyway, he still gets called Whammy to this very day and I've been know to be called Mrs Wham and the kids "Little Wham"! And so the legend continues.....!
